Duracordix HMPE Mooring Pendant is a type of rope made from High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMPE) fibers. It is an essential part of the mooring system, used to securely connect the vessel to a mooring buoy, ensuring the boat’s stability. Typically, the length of the pendant is relatively short. To enhance abrasion resistance, it is often equipped with a protective cover or utilizes a double-braided construction for improved durability and wear resistance.
